Convention EAC2014

logo1 Latest News about the next convention in 2014: the dates are 6-8 March; it will start with a Viper Pilots "Side Meeting" for the current and past F16 Demo Pilots, and, if this is successful,maybe this willbe the basis to organize, in 2015, a wider session for a Solo-display Pilots Side-Meeting to include all fast jet display pilots. Because everybody was very happy with the hotel and facilities in 2013, the Convention will be Antwerp again in the 4* Hotel Radisson Blue Astrid.

Arrivals by Air

ARRIVAL BY AIR

Charleroi: 

We do not collect arrivals at Charleroi (on Ryanair).  Arrivals at Charleroi should either hire a car or take the coach (every hour) to Brussels Midi Railway Station; from there take a train direct to Brussels North Railway Station (Gare du Nord/ Noord Station) and walk to the Hotel (650 meters)

Brussels International Airport Zaventem – BRX

Now that the Hotel for the Convention is located in Brussels and it is very easy to reach by Express Link directly from the Airport itself, we no longer have a representative to meet you when you arrive by air.   Please follow the advice below to find your way to the Hotel which should be possible within 30-45 minutes after collection of your luggage.

Brussels Airport Arrivals Hall

 By train, Brussels Airport is less than twenty minutes from the city centre. From 05:30 till nearly midnight, the Airport City Express links the airport with Brussels Midi, Central and North four times an hour.

 To access the City Express railway link from the Arrivals area, go down the escalator sub-ground and follow the signs.  Take the Express Link to Brussels North Station (Gare du Nord/ Noord Station)  These trains run approximately every 15 minutes.  You can then walk to the Hotel from Brussels North station in about 7 minutes. (You can also download a map of the 650 metre route)
